Minicoin Launches IP RWA Network on Creditcoin, Secures Official Authorization for minini IP from IPX (LINE FRIENDS)
The development path for Real World Assets (RWA) on-chain is becoming increasingly clear: from stablecoins to U.S. Treasury bonds, and now to real estate and private credit. Today, Minicoin is betting on the next significant asset class poised for on-chain integration—Intellectual Property (IP).
Built on the Creditcoin blockchain, the IP RWA network Minicoin has announced that its native token $MINI will be the first project to launch on the PenguinSwap Launchpad, officially kicking off its Public Sale.
This token sale adopts a fair and open mechanism, with no Insider Discounts, allowing for price discovery through the public market, aiming to achieve a broader and more decentralized token holding structure.
Notably, Mini Labs (the developer of Minicoin) has obtained official authorization from IPX to legally use the minini IP.
Will Intellectual Property Become the Next Generation of RWA?
Intellectual property has always been an asset, but it has long suffered from a lack of liquidity.
Traditional IP ownership is usually registered with official agencies or private contracts in various countries, and the licensing process relies on lawyers and intermediaries, often leaving creators waiting months to receive their earnings, all while incurring multiple fees along the way.
The emergence of Generative AI has completely disrupted this traditional model.
AI is creating vast amounts of new intellectual property at an unprecedented speed, while the existing copyright system—relying on manual management, including copyright enforcement, manual licensing, and copyright management—can no longer handle such a massive supply of content.
Today, the number of new IPs created each year far exceeds the capacity to register, license, and distribute earnings, and this gap continues to widen.
Minicoin aims to change this situation.
The platform views each piece of intellectual property as a redeemable claim, similar to how stablecoins correspond to fiat currency.
Each IP will be minted as an IP NFT, representing a complete and unique piece of intellectual property.
NFT holders will have full ownership of that intellectual property. They can hold it long-term, trade freely, or destroy the NFT to revert the corresponding intellectual property back to off-chain full ownership, completely detaching from the platform for continued use.
More importantly, creators can truly realize the rights, circulation, and commercial monetization of their original IP.
How Does Minicoin Achieve IP On-Chain?
The entire Minicoin system is primarily composed of four core components:
On-chain IP Registry
All intellectual properties and their ownership can be publicly, transparently, and verifiably recorded on-chain.
Smart Contract Settlement
When an IP generates revenue, the income will be automatically settled in $MINI through smart contracts and directly distributed to IP holders without the need for any copyright management agency to intervene.
Creator & Fan Rewards
Through on-chain micro-transactions, even the smallest amounts of copyright usage fees can be automatically paid, which is nearly impossible in traditional licensing systems.
AI Creator Tools
The platform will provide AI creation tools, enabling ordinary creators to quickly produce and publish their original IP without relying on large studios.
For creators, this means:
- Creating original characters;
- Tokenizing their works;
- Fully owning their intellectual property;
- Automatically earning revenue when the market uses that IP.
The entire process can be completed without publishers, licensing agencies, or any third-party permissions.
At the same time, Minicoin adheres to a core principle:
One token always corresponds to one complete IP.
The platform will not adopt fractional ownership nor will it launch IP share products.
Minicoin's IP Development Roadmap
Minicoin plans to build a complete IP Marketplace around three major creative fields, allowing ordinary users to easily create original content and achieve revenue.
Phase One: Stickers
Stickers are among the simplest and easiest visual works to define copyright ownership, making them the first scenario suitable for tokenization.
Additionally, this is one of the areas most severely affected by the proliferation of AI content.
Currently, the sticker and emoji market on mainstream instant messaging platforms in Asia has reached several hundred million dollars:
- LINE generates over $170 million annually from stickers;
- KakaoTalk's cumulative emoticon sales are approximately $870 million as of 2024.
Phase Two: Music IP
According to industry data:
- In 2024, global income from songwriters and copyright distribution is estimated to be around $13.6 billion;
- The global recorded music market is approximately $29.6 billion.
Due to the involvement of more rights holders in music copyrights, Minicoin will initially only support on-chain settlement for some of the copyright revenues.
Phase Three: Virtual IP
The global virtual influencer market surpassed $6 billion in 2024, maintaining an annual growth rate of about 38%.
Whether Virtual Models or VTubers, they essentially belong to digital intellectual property, thus having a natural demand for on-chain rights confirmation, character source verification, and creator contribution records.
