TrustedVolumes Attackers Return 1,122 ETH, Retain $2 Million as Bounty

The attackers involved in the TrustedVolumes crypto market maker attack have returned 1,122 ETH, valued at over $2 million. The attack initially resulted in over $5.8 million in assets being stolen, and the attackers have now returned approximately $2 million in assets while retaining about $2 million as a bounty for the vulnerability. On May 7, TrustedVolumes was attacked, resulting in a loss of approximately $5.9 million in assets, including around $3.02 million in ETH, $1.37 million in WBTC, and $1.47 million in stablecoins. The attackers converted the stolen funds into approximately 2,513 ETH.
