Morgan Stanley Ethereum and Solana ETFs attract $33 million in second-day inflows

Morgan Stanley's Ethereum and Solana exchange-traded funds (ETFs) attracted $33 million on their second trading day, outperforming larger rivals. The Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust (MSSE) drew in $14.03 million, while the Morgan Stanley Solana Trust (MSOL) recorded $19.03 million, according to SoSoValue data. MSSE's inflow surpassed that of BlackRock's ETHA, the leading US spot Ethereum ETF, despite the broader category experiencing around $19 million in net outflows. Total net inflows into Ethereum ETFs since launch stand at $11.19 billion. MSOL accounted for all inflows into US Solana ETFs during the session, despite only two days of trading. MSSE and MSOL now manage $20 million in assets. The inflows followed a strong debut on Tuesday, generating approximately $38 million in combined trading volume. Morgan Stanley's early performance positions it alongside established issuers like BlackRock and Grayscale in the Ethereum and Solana ETF markets. The firm is leveraging its success in Bitcoin, which has gathered about $400 million in assets, to expand its crypto ETF offerings. Both funds have a 0.14% expense ratio, making them competitively priced. Their launch signals a shift among US asset managers towards products beyond Bitcoin, as demand for regulated crypto exposure increases.
